Description

The Business & Industry Tour creates awareness of career and technical jobs in West Alabama. The annual event provides a unique opportunity for area school counselors and career coaches to visit local industries and to hear from business leaders concerning the economic overview of the region. A different industry is highlighted each year.

This year's host will be the Tuscaloosa County Commission's Synergic Center.

• 8:00 - 8:45 a.m.: Breakfast & Welcome
• 8:45am - 10:45 a.m.: Presentations 
  • Law Enforcement Academy Presentation
  • Cyber Security Unit Presentation 
  • Synergic Center Overview/Tour
• 10:45 - 11 a.m.: Break: 
• 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Alabama STEM Council Data Walk / Departure

Due to limited parking, transportation will be provided.  Boxed lunches will be provided upon departure.
